-On Friday September 19\/25 between the hours of 9am-7pm (local time), support the your local food bank (in North America) and safer online spaces by donating canned or non-perishable food items. Email proof of donation to Nonprofit DEFEND at:  info@HelpUsDefend.com to be entered into a raffle for one of <\/span>50 free 3-month Dating Square memberships<\/span>. Together, we can fight hunger and promote safer online dating.<\/span><\/p>\n


<\/span>-On Saturday September 27\/25 from 2pm-3pm ET, join us at your local downtown plaza or waterfront \/ park \/ trail for the <\/span>Walk for Safer Dating<\/span>, a peaceful protest against scams, loneliness and abuse happening currently on dating apps. Participants can take a photo or video during the walk and tag <\/span>65square<\/span> or <\/span>HelpUsDefend<\/span> on YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok. Up to <\/span>10 participants per community<\/span> will win a free 3-month Dating Square membership. Draw will be held on September 28\/25 from all entries received. <\/span><\/p>\n

-On Saturday October 4\/24 at 2pm-6pm ET, Nonprofit DEFEND and 65square will host a 4-hour <\/span>Silent Livestream Protest<\/span> at <\/span>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@DEFENDnonprofit<\/a> to raise awareness about the serious abuses happening on dating apps today. Hosts will sit in silence \u2014 and anyone in the live chat who succeeds in making them laugh or smile will win a free 3-month Dating Square membership. Join us, break the silence, and help bring attention to these urgent issues.<\/span><\/p>\n

-DEFEND is producing the Forum for a Better Internet<\/b>, a round-table event with expert speakers and voices from young persons. An Advocacy-Education Team collaboration, it may be the first of many similar events to take place on live stream. Stay tuned for details, coming soon!<\/b><\/p>\n
