The House of Commons’ Standing Committee on Access to Information, Privacy and Ethics is studying the “Protection of Privacy on Platforms such as Pornhub” – As such they are looking into issues such are age verification for accessing sites like porn sites. These Members of Parliament should be seeing the FULL picture, that age/ID verification on ALL social media sites/platforms (like FB, Insta, Snapchat, TikTok, etc) may reduce:
-Risks of children being exposed to online predators
-Risks of children sharing nude images
-Risks of online bullying to all persons
-Risks of all persons being exposed to unwanted content online
Therefore we are ENCOURAGING YOU READING THIS NOW TO WRITE THESE MEMBERS OF CANADIAN PARLIAMENT TO MAKE YOUR FEELINGS KNOWN ON THIS ISSUE OF AGE/ID VERIFICATION ON ALL SOCIAL MEDIA SITES FOR ALL PERSONS!!! Match Group Inc. is a $2B company with multiple dating websites and apps under its brand. One of their brands is Tinder which boasts that they have the ability to verify its users but uses only pictures to do so. Teens and children under the age of 18 have the ability to use and abuse their network, creating accounts and giving adults the ability to communicate freely with them. What does Match Group do about this? Do they have a responsibility to protect all users on their platforms?
Contact Match Group’s CEO Shar Dubey and tell her how risky these platforms are and that they need to implement measures today to protect all children that may be unknowingly using their services.

Canadian Senator introduces bill to make it criminal for porn sites to NOT have age verification
Senator Julie Miville-Dechêne recently introduced a bill (S-203) that if passed into law, sites like PornHub would need to make age verification mandatory for all users. Does this go far enough?
